Cass County meetings are open to the public. Meetings held in the Cass County Commission Room will also be streamed live on the Cass County Government Facebook and YouTube pages and recordings of the meetings will be available upon request. Adult Mosquito Control Operations Scheduled for Thursday. 

 

CASS COUNTY, N.D. – Cass County Vector Control has scheduled aerial spraying for elevated mosquito nuisance in the cities of Fargo and West Fargo on Thursday, July 18, 2024, after 8:00 p.m.

 

A pre-application flight will occur before the application on July 18 at 7:30pm to survey the spray block for obstructions. No pesticides are applied at that time.

 

The active ingredient in the ULV (Ultra Low Volume) spray is permethrin. This insecticide is labeled for use in residential areas and is found to be non-toxic to humans and pets. More information on these products is available at casscountynd.gov/vector.
