Adult Control Applications are highly dependent on weather conditions.

Depending on the product in use, temperatures generally must be at least 50 degrees with wind speeds less than 10 mph.

If you are a resident in a city/township, or subdivision, please contact your officials to schedule adult mosquito spraying. These applications occur on a contract basis only.

If you are part of a subdivision or city/township wishing to establish a contract with the county you must contact your representatives to do so.

  • Introduction: Cass Vector Control scheduled AERIAL adult mosquito spraying for the following communities on the day(s) listed, weather permitting:

    Wednesday, August 26th 2020 After 7:00pm
    Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead

    Additionally, truck mounted spraying will occur for rural cities and subdivisions in Cass County

Adult Mosquito Control Operations Scheduled for Wednesday

 

CASS COUNTY, N.D. – Cass County Vector Control has scheduled aerial spraying for elevated mosquito nuisance in the cities of Fargo and West Fargo on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, after 8:00 p.m.

 

 

Additionally truck mounted spraying is scheduled in the following cities and rural areas also starting after 8pm:

Kindred, Harwood, & Reile's Acres

 

 

The active ingredient in the ULV (Ultra Low Volume) spray is permethrin. This insecticide is labeled for use in residential areas and is found to be non-toxic to humans and pets. More information on these products is available at casscountynd.gov/vector.
