Cass County meetings are open to the public. Meetings held in the Cass County Commission Room will also be streamed live on the Cass County Government Facebook and YouTube pages and recordings of the meetings will be available upon request. Aerial Spraying: Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead Monday 8/26/20 700pm Truck mounted: Rural Cass Cities 8pm

A pre-application flight is scheduled for 6:30 8/26 to observe potential obstructions in the flight plan. No insecticide is being applied at that time.

  • Introduction: Cass Vector Control scheduled AERIAL adult mosquito spraying for the following communities on the day(s) listed, weather permitting:

    Wednesday, August 26th 2020 After 7:00pm
    Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead

    Additionally, truck mounted spraying will occur for rural cities and subdivisions in Cass County

NEWS RELEASE

 

West Fargo, North Dakota – Tuesday, August 25th 2020

 

Cass County Vector Control has scheduled  AERIAL SPRAYING for elevated mosquito nuisance in the following communities on the day(s) listed, weather permitting:

 

Wednesday, August 26th, 2020 After 7:00 PM

City of Fargo, City of Moorhead, City of West Fargo

 

A pre-application flight will occur the morning of 8/26 at 6:30am to survey the spray block. No pesticides are applied at that time.

 

 Additionally, truck mounted spraying will occur for rural cities and subdivisions in Cass County after 8pm.

 

 

The active ingredient in the ULV (Ultra Low Volume) spray is permethrin This insecticide is labeled for use in residential areas and are found to be non-toxic to humans and pets.
