Cass County meetings are open to the public. Meetings held in the Cass County Commission Room will also be streamed live on the Cass County Government Facebook and YouTube pages and recordings of the meetings will be available upon request. Cass County Vector Control has scheduled TRUCK MOUNTED SPRAYING for elevated mosquito nuisance in the following communities on the day(s) listed, weather permitting:

 

Wednesday, August 7th, 2019 745 PM

Hunter, Arthur, Amenia, Harwood, Argusville, Alice, Buffalo, Page, Grandin

Reed Township Subdivisions, Gardner, Mapleton, Davenport

 Braaten Subdivision, Kindred,  Leonard, Stanley Township Subdivisions, Butch-R-Block

 Additional Applications TBA

The active ingredient in the ULV (Ultra Low Volume) spray is permethrin or etofenprox. These insecticides are labeled for use in residential areas and are found to be non-toxic to humans and pets.
