Cass County meetings are open to the public. Meetings held in the Cass County Commission Room will also be streamed live on the Cass County Government Facebook and YouTube pages and recordings of the meetings will be available upon request. Aerial Spraying: Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead Monday 6/10/19 8pm

A pre-application flight is scheduled for Sunday morning 6/9 to observe potential obstructions in the flight plan. No insecticide is being applied at that time.

NEWS RELEASE

 

 

West Fargo, North Dakota – Friday June 7th 2019

Cass County Vector Control has scheduled AERIAL adult mosquito spraying for the following communities on the day(s) listed, weather permitting:

 

Monday June 10th 2019 8 pm

Cities of Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo

 

An early morning pre-application flight will take place Sunday June 9th between 6am and 9am to observe any obstructions in the flight plan.

No insecticide will be applied during the morning flight.

Weather conditions may force a delay if temperatures or wind speeds are forecast to be outside of permitted levels. Additional information will follow in the event of a postponement.

The active ingredient in the spray is permethrin. This insecticide is labeled for use in residential areas and is found to be non-toxic to humans and pets.
