Cass County Vector Control has scheduled TRUCK MOUNTED adult mosquito spraying for the following communities on the day(s) listed, weather permitting:

Wednesday August 8th 2018 7:45 pm

SELECT AREAS: Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo

Additional information and finalized spray blocks posted 8/8.

The active ingredient in the ULV (Ultra Low Volume) spray is permethrin or etofenprox. These insecticides are labeled for use in residential areas and are found to be non-toxic to humans and pets.

SPECIAL NOTE: Mosquito conditions should be expected to be extremely difficult at various times of the day and in various areas of our region.

Please be prepared to take additional precautions especially at dawn and dusk including: wearing long sleeves and pants, applying a DEET containing repellent, or avoiding outdoor activity.
