Cass County meetings are open to the public. Meetings held in the Cass County Commission Room will also be streamed live on the Cass County Government Facebook and YouTube pages and recordings of the meetings will be available upon request. Previous Commission meeting agendas and minutes are available below. If you cannot find the meeting agenda or minutes that you are looking for, please email pio@casscountynd.gov to request them.

3rd Annual Sheriff’s Auction (Firearms)

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office will host its’ 3rd Annual Sheriff’s (Firearm) Auction on August 11th at 10:00 AM at the Cass County Law Enforcement Center; 1612 23rd Ave North.  The doors will open at 9:00 AM for viewing of the items up for auction the day of the sale. This is a “cash only” sale and the items are sold “as is.”  In order to purchase a firearm, you must be a North Dakota resident with valid identification and will be subject to a back ground investigation.  You must be 18 years of age to purchase a long gun and 21 years of age to purchase a pistol.

    2. Shotguns
    3. Pistols
    4. Revolvers
  2. Airguns
    1. Pistols
    2. Rifles
  3. Gun Parts
  4. Gun Accessories
  5. Sporting Goods
  6. Knives
  7. Power Tools
  8. Other seized/found/forfeited property

The sale is mandated under state law (N.D.C.C. 62.1-01-02) and publication of the sale will be listed in the;

  1. Fargo Forum’s legal section; advertisement dates will be July 31st and August 7th
  2. Farmers Forum; advertisement dates will be July 28th and August 7th
